A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Having been trained in Contemplative Practices over 14 years in a convent, I now practice secular mindfulness and have a strong interest in how this can be used in innovative ways with applications for anyone, but especially those who experience trauma or mental health issues.

I am a certified mindfulness teacher as well as having trained to teach MBCL (Mindfulness Based Compassionate Living. This is an adjunct to qualifications in Advanced Trauma Sensitive Mindfulness .

In addition I have completed a training as a Mindfulness Teacher Trainer. My own compassion practice is the basis for courses offered with care and careful consideration.

I am now ready to offer a unique Mindfulness Teacher Training Based in Positive Psychology, as well as courses, workshops and webinars.

The MindLife Centre is founded on secular mindfulness, which has no affiliation or basis in any one formalised system of belief or tradition.
For centuries ordinary operations of the human mind have been recruited by world religions as offering a path to what is variously termed enlightenment, awakening, redemption, etc. Secular mindfulness engages these same operations of mind in an open process unique to each individual and for purposes defined by such individual.
In the Moment draws majorly on contemporary psychology, philosophy, neuroscience, contemplative tradition, and education, with emphasis on evidenced outcomes for people who engage with its activities.
Secular Mindfulness is therefore available to persons holding to any belief system, or none.
Our mission at In the Moment is to provide reasonably priced Mindfulness and Compassion Courses, Training, and Education to the highest professional standard for everyone without exception.
All Trainers and Registered Teachers adhere to international standards of Professional Guidelines.
